TV Theme Song Throwback Thursdays!
Charles In Charge (1984-1990)
Scott Baio’s sitcom and attempt at redemption after the failed Joanie Loves Chachi was cancelled. It seemed Charles In Charge would result similarly as CBS cancelled the series after one season. However, fans erupted and voiced their displeasure…so loudly in fact that the production company continued production of the show and sold it into syndication where the series enjoyed another six seasons. Ahhh, the power of the people.

And for those of you who are Scrubs’ fans, you’ll definitely remember Ted Buckland’s accapella group The Blanks adding their rendition to the above theme song.
The Worthless Peons (The Blanks) Make Cougar Town Cameo!
The acapella musical stylings of the The Blanks are known quite well to Scrubs fans as they were a mainstay (as the Worthless Peons) during Scrubs’ nine season run. Well, they made an appearance down in Gulf Haven last night and aided Bobby Cobb during his first date with Dr. Eliot Reid (errrr….i mean Professor Angie). Check out other cameos last night who formerly resided at Sacred Heart Hospital (thank you SundayStorms for the pic)!
